"You cannot discover new oceans unless you have the courage to lose sight of the shore."
–Lord Chesterfield, 1764
As mentioned elsewhere on this site, Ken Prestley grew up with a fascination for the Mississippi River and other great waterways of America. Spending much of his life in the Midwest, it was only natural that he learned much about riverboat and barge life on the banks of the rolling Mississippi. Moving to Texas, he found the Gulf of Mexico and it was a natural progression to fishing and shrimp boats off the South Texas coast. Favorite fishing spots, boats we wish we could float away on, and dreams that just might come true. The freedom that waterscapes bring to any room is an everyday vacation. Whether a large vessel on the Mighty Mississippi, birdwatching on the intracoastal canal, or a bait stand on the Laguna Madre, what's your dream? Hang - and hang on to - your dream today with a Ken Prestley original waterscape.
